Our story began in 1999, when U.S. Army Veteran Dana Kindy turned his commitment to quality craftsmanship into a respectable family business (founded as Decorator Depot USA). His values quickly attracted a loyal customer base and a path toward growth. What started with small residential projects soon expanded into large-scale commercial contracts.

As the company grew, Dana partnered with fellow Veteran Jeff Huckaby, whose commercial experience helped shape a reputation for reliability, precision, and partnership. Together, their dedication to doing things the right way helped the company grow into one of Louisiana’s leading Division 12 shading subcontractors.

Following Dana’s passing in 2023, the company was acquired by Kimberly Peters, who now serves as President and shares Jeff’s vision to carry their legacy into the future. The company was rebranded as COVERPOINT — reflecting the company’s origins and the tradition of craftsmanship that has defined the company for more than two decades.
